KUKA Robots

KUKA offers more than 25 different industrial robot types for various applications in the fields of welding, handling or palletizing.

The KUKA iiwa with its KUKA Sunrise Cabinet controller can be easily integrated into the drag&bot framework. In addition to its compact design, the controller shows high versatility, as it can be run with all lightweight robot variants.

KUKA's history begins in Augsburg in 1898. As one of the top providers of smart automation soutions, KUKA operates in various markets, such as automtive, electromics or healthcare. With a turnover of ca. 3.2 billion euro, KUKA employs more than 14,000 employees.

Robot Example KUKA LBR iiwa:

The LBR iiwa is the first series-produced sensitive robot. LBR stands for “lightweight robot”, iiwa for “intelligent industrial work assistant”. The robot is offered in two versions with payloads of 7 and 14 kilogram and 800-820mm range. It is not only quick to react, sensitive and independent but also opens up the possibility for humans and robots to work together on highly sensitive tasks in close cooperation.

How does deployment work?

Why you should program robots with drag&bot

Graphical user interface for every robot – drag&bot

  • SCENARIO DESIGNER – 3D models of the robot cell and the workpieces can be added here to the visualization.

  • BUILDER – Applications can be created from predefined function blocks using drag and drop.

  • WIZARDS – Graphical operating and input aids: Users can adapt function blocks to the specific requirements of their application without expert knowledge.

  • OPERATOR COCKPIT – This is where the created applications are executed. One click takes you back to the builder and you can extend and optimize the application.
