DENSO Robots

DENSO robots are compact, light weighted and need only minimal maintenance. The unified controller type RC8A is used for all robot models from DENSO, which results in more cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness. Drag&bot supports the RC8A controller and offers a seamless integration of DENSO robots into the drag&bot framework.

The RC8 controller is a very compact, powerful 8-axis controller with high performance:

  • High degree of design flexibility, space saving and ease of use
  • RC8 meets all international standards and adapts to networks

DENSO is a japanese company with over 120.000 robots installed worldwide. DENSO Robotics offers development, production and distribution of automatic data acquisition devices, industrial robots, programmable controllers and other devices and systems. Its SCARA, 5-axis and 6-axis robots provide excellent speed, high precision and quality.

Robot Example VS-Series:

The DENSO VS-Series contains four compact, high-precision robot models with payloads from 4 to 7 kg. The models can be used for assembly, inspection, alignment, material handling, material maintenance and many other applications. Additionally, DENSO offers many optional features like a communication flange, external batteries or brake release units.

  • SCENARIO DESIGNER – 3D models of the robot cell and the workpieces can be added here to the visualization.

  • BUILDER – Applications can be created from predefined function blocks using drag and drop.

  • WIZARDS – Graphical operating and input aids: Users can adapt function blocks to the specific requirements of their application without expert knowledge.

  • OPERATOR COCKPIT – This is where the created applications are executed. One click takes you back to the builder and you can extend and optimize the application.
