KUKA iiwa

KUKA offers more than 25 different industrial robot types for various applications in the fields of welding, handling or palletizing.

The KUKA iiwa with its KUKA Sunrise Cabinet controller can be easily integrated into the drag&bot framework. In addition to its compact design, the controller shows high versatility, as it can be run with all lightweight robot variants.

KUKA´s history begins in Augsburg in 1898. As one of the top providers of smart automation soutions, KUKA operates in various markets, such as automtive, electromics or healthcare. With a turnover of ca. 3.2 billion euro, KUKA employs more than 14,000 employees.

Robot Example KUKA LBR iiwa:

The LBR iiwa is the first series-produced sensitive robot. LBR stands for “lightweight robot”, iiwa for “intelligent industrial work assistant”. The robot is offered in two versions with payloads of 7 and 14 kilogram and 800-820mm range. It is not only quick to react, sensitive and independent but also opens up the possibility for humans and robots to work together on highly sensitive tasks in close cooperation.

How does deployment work?

Why you should program your robot with drag&bot

Graphical user interface for every robot – drag&bot

  • COMPONENT MANAGER – Here the user configures the connected hardware. The installation of the corresponding drivers takes place automatically in the background.

  • BUILDER – Applications can be created from predefined function blocks using drag and drop.

  • WIZARDS – Graphical operating and input aids: Users can adapt function blocks to the specific requirements of their application without expert knowledge.

  • RUN VIEW – The created applications are executed here. With one click you return to the Builder and can extend and optimize the application.

Use any hardware and combine it as you wish

drag&bot supports a variety of different robots, almost all grippers and force sensors and the most common image processing systems and communication interfaces.

Save valuable time when integrating grippers, cameras or PLC systems. With minimal effort, your hardware is connected to drag&bot and you can get started right away.
