ABB robot
ABB offers various six-axis robots with payloads from 3 to 800 kg. The robots are powered by the IRC5 controller, which offers excellent performance and maximum path accuracy. Drag&bot supports all ABB robots with the IRC5 controller. Detailed Requirements for using ABB with drag&bot:
ABB ABB is a leading global engineering company that energizes the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future. By connecting software to its electrification, robotics, automation and motion portfolio, ABB pushes the boundaries of technology to drive performance to new levels. With a history of excellence stretching back more than 130 years, ABB’s success is driven by 110,000 talented employees in over 100 countries.
Robot Example RB 1200:
The IRB 1200 meets industry requirements for flexibility, short cycle times and compactness while offering a large working range. Available in two versions, the IRB 1200 is versatile and cost-efficient. Both versions are equipped with Foundry Plus 2 or cleanroom protection, as well as SafeMove and Food Grade Lubrication (lubrication with food-grade oils). The 700-mm version can handle up to 7 kg, while the 900-mm version has a payload of 5 kg.

How does deployment work?
Warum Sie Roboter mit drag&bot programmieren sollten
Graphical user interface for every robot – drag&bot
COMPONENT MANAGER – Here the user configures the connected hardware. The installation of the corresponding drivers takes place automatically in the background.
BUILDER – Applications can be created from predefined function blocks using drag and drop.
WIZARDS – Graphical operating and input aids: Users can adapt function blocks to the specific requirements of their application without expert knowledge.
RUN VIEW – The created applications are executed here. With one click you return to the Builder and can extend and optimize the application.
Use any hardware and combine it as you wish
drag&bot supports a variety of different robots, almost all grippers and part supply systems and the most common image processing systems and communication interfaces.
Save valuable time when integrating grippers, cameras or PLC systems. With minimal effort, your hardware is connected to drag&bot and you can get started right away.
Use the hardware that suits your application best!
